Rugged new commercial-grade TimeCutter® product family increases operator comfort
SPELLBROOK, England (February, 2017) – Toro, a global leader in turf and landscape maintenance equipment, has announced the launch of a new line of commercial-grade zero turn mowers – the TimeCutter® HD – late this Spring.
The TimeCutter® HD provides an ideal mowing experience due to its heavy duty deck, which incorporates elements of its base design from the proven TITAN commercial mowing platform and integrates a number of ergonomic features to make it stronger than most other mowers.
The TimeCutter® HD line offers a number of features focused on versatility and utility including a built-in bucket holder for easy transport of tools and materials, the award-winning Smart Speed® control system, and a standard tow hitch for safe and efficient towing of attachments. A 12v accessory port and cup and accessory holders are also included for added convenience.
Within the product range is a choice of models offering the MyRIDE™ suspension system, which helps isolate the operator from the frame. The fully adjustable MyRIDE™ suspension system uses coil over shocks, reducing the effects of bumps and jolts and allowing operators to select the comfort setting that suits their specific needs. This reduces fatigue whilst mowing.
Julie Dommett, Marketing Manager at Toro, commented: “The new product range of TimeCutter® HD mowers provide greater comfort for users, an important consideration for those mowing large areas over a sustained period of time. The MyRIDE™ technology tackles this issue. The handle bar controls also assist with simple handing as they are intuitive to the movement of the driver. This enables a faster mow whilst retaining the professional quality achieved by a Toro mower.”
Although the TimeCutter® HD was designed with comfort in mind, it is also a highly durable and versatile zero turn mower. It starts with the heavy-duty front end, featuring a 6.3 cm x 6.3 cm full tubular front axle for superior strength and heavy-duty front caster forks, all attached to a thick 10-gauge frame. The deck is made from special Grade 50 high-strength 10-gauge steel that is nearly 50 per cent stronger than competitive decks.
TimeCutter® HD Series mowers will be available from Toro’s Dealer network this spring. For more information on Toro professional mowers, please visit http://www.toro.com/en-gb.
